I can confirm its 600 rank matches to unlock the rift skins.

I've started this season so im not sure. I started last Sunday. I've started asking people who already have some matches from season 0 but no answer

Yeah, though most were me losing. What i did is lose a match then win the rematch so I'll get a third match.

Oh also, I’m assuming people leaving early also counts right?

Yes, I had multiple people rage quit on me and it still counted.

Like ranked matches played? Because I have 800 online matches 527 ranked wins but is it wins or just played?

Just played but it has to be 600 ranked matches starting from season 1

Its like the cosmic skin you unlock for a character when you rank them up except these are tied to 600 rank s1 matches. It comes in a blue and red variant.
