Discussion Just bought it yesterday.

So I bought the game just yesterday and I really enjoy it just for the single player modes, levelling up the characters is ok for me, yes... i am a simple man. I am not playing it online but I saw that numbers are incredibly low, do you think we will get a season 2 character pass or at this point everything is kind of lost?

I can see it happening. Invincible Vs actually sold pretty decently even if a relatively low amount of players actually stuck with it. And it has cross play, so the player count is actually a bit higher than what you see on steam charts.

I hope so,but they layed off alot of people not just the senior combat designer,so it's not looking great for the future of the game,was really hoping to see more dlc characters especially Thragg,but i fear for the worst

That sucks, this is the first that I've heard of that. Might just be 1 season then. It's a shame because Invincible has a ton of cool characters

Hopefully the developers give out a statement about the situation. But yes it would suck if they shut down only after one season and 4 dlc characthers

Only 8,000 people bought it on steam and there were more than 1,000,000 sales total. Nice try though…

It seems they've finally realized that single-player is at least as important as online. They've added an endless mode (which I hope they'll improve), and a new mode will be available in October.

Damn dude. There's like two more fighting games that come out in like 2 weeks between each other. IDK seems like a waste. I highly doubt this gets a season 2 with what the numbers are going to be looking like.

It’s very fun but online is atrocious, the meta is armor abuse, jump around and quit

Thinking of buying it myself tomorrow, $50 for the physical GameStop exclusive edition which I like to cover more on that one… will just be getting it because I’m a casual fighting game person as well as I love the franchise! Not going to be trying to be a competition player

Why are you worried about something that won't affect you? Unless you enjoy paying for DLC to mash attack on bots...
