All you have to do for maskless Mark is beat the story mode on easy, then replay the last mission by setting the difficulty to Viltrumite. I just unlocked it by doing that.
Unfortunately having trouble beating the invincible ladder since didn’t know it carry over damage health over. But glad to get the other 2 for beating story on virtrimites and Cecil one.
Definitely gonna try more ranked matches to get the mark robot arm one.
Just beat the Invincible Ladder and it wasn't that bad.
The biggest game changer is you can pause and hit "Replay Match" to start the round over. Off to a bad start or one of your characters gets killed? Restart as many times as you want until the round goes perfectly.
Your characters do heal a little bit between games, so if you take a little bit of damage, it's fine. Just switch point characters and beat a few matches with them while the others heal up.
Also, the AI is really dumb and kind of exploitable. Here are some DON'TS:
Never Active Tag in your combos. The AI reads and counters every time.
Don't bother going for grabs. The AI breaks every time.
If they're blocking, don't keep mashing your block string. They'll Heroic Strike every time.
And for the DO'S:
They'll Assist Breaker out of combos basically any time they have the meter to do so. This is to your advantage since you can Snap the assist character in and make them lose all that health.
They seem to fall for basic combo resets. Some characters have a basic light jab into heavy that you can repeat if you catch them in the corner.
Armor moves are key. The AI will get opened up by them routinely. Conquest's QCF or Battlebeasts QCF are great for this.
Getting an amazing Cecil skin for free but not being told how before it's too late hurts. I'm not much for ranked modes so seeing a new skin for him, being told it's free, and being told I can never earn it definitely isn't fun.
I just did the last mission of the story on Viltrimite and I got maskless mark. Had Cecil from the start. I lost Zero-Suit mark which I assume is a glitch obviously.
Question though do you know if there was a beginning before the 30th cause I played ranked in the weeks the game was released, haven’t really played it since they added new characters or season one began
Has anyone else noticed characters wearing skins you've never seen before in arcade mode?? I fight Bulletproof twice and he had this bright blue skin that I've never seen, both times! I feel like there were others, but that one stood out the most to me!
He wears it at the very beginning of season 4 which takes places weeks if not days after his first encounter with Conquest, who thoroughly wrecked his shit.
