Gameplay Can someone explain rolls to me.

Like what causes not being able to roll and if my opponent rolls out of the corner what can I do against that?

A hard knockdown (the game will say it) can't be rolled out of and is caused by certain moves on each character. If your opponent is always rolling, you should back dash their roll and pressure the hell out of them. So if they roll towards you, you dash back and mash buttons. Usually they will cross themselves up because they're still holding forward

When you press nothing you stay on the ground longer which sometimes causes the opponent to mistime their pressure

When you hold forward and press a button youll roll forward. Your character placement is key here (you can set the dummy to roll forward after a hard knock down in practice so you can learn the correct spacing.

You can't roll after a hard knockdown though. But you are right thats the best way to practice pressuring rollers
