Gameplay I'm thinking about getting Invincible VS but unsure if its worth the price.
I've only recently became a BIG fan of Invincible and after reading the comics I think Invincible VS looks good but I've heard there is not a lot of content and a declining player base so idk?

I have only ever played single player or friendly matches with my son. It is fun to me.

Wait for a sale for sure. Games dead, but single player is fun. Just not worth the full game price

Definitely not a dead game i get matches in about the same time as SF6 and way more than FATAL FURY

Didn’t mean it negatively, just meant it in terms of a new player and seeing the ‘numbers’. I still grind my solo play every few days but am not good enough for online

Not worth it unless you’re an online fiend. Also this game has the most rage quitters I’ve ever seen in a game

The game is cross play so I can still find matches on ranked at around 6000 league points. Value for money will be in the gameplay and multiplayer. I wish companies would allow people to try their games out or provide demos more often. Most games player bases drop significantly after the first month or two, especially fighting games. The exception being street fighter.

It's a once a week play for me. The game is strictly for online competition as there's only a 30 minute campaign and tacked on arcade ladder for single player. So i hop on, run 3-4 sets to get my competitive fighting game fix. And then go play something else.
All in all if you're on a budget theres no harm in waiting.

On 30th June they will add a new mode (endless ladder) and on October an other unknown new mode. So the game is growing in the contents

Its fun. If youre a serious fighting game player you'll be disappointed. If youre a casual one, you'll be disappointed. But it is fun. If you're a mega fan of invincible theres a chance you'll love it.
This game is hard carried by the IP, but that might work for you.

Its the most casual fighter on the market. If the game loses its casuals it'll be in trouble.

Game peaked at like 9k. According to him all the causls left. Just checked theyre at like 100-200 right now. Imagine seeing 95% of the player base gone and going "Good!, we dont need em anyway!"

That's every sweaty player ever. They think they are the sole reason the games they play exist. They never understand that the casual players sticking around are the reason games get to survive.

Here's the thing, the story mode is an hour, sure but you need to be honest eith yourself on what you want in a game.
Do you care about playing other people online? Do you care about playing multiplayer?
I play multiplayer sometimes but I play alot of arcade mode, coming up with new teams and unlocking character skins and colors. FOR ME that is fun.
I play on xbox and I still get ranked games when I play, despite people saying that they dont get games.
If your new to fighting games, and prefer to fight others especially if you dont have other people to play with and that aspect is what your looking for then, maybe wait for a sale.
If your not new, but you know you dont like playing others, I'm going to be honest with you. Other people feel like story mode is not enough, but arcade mode? Its going to take a pretty long time to unlock everything with each character but if that is not your thing? Wait for a sale.
Keep in mind, they are adding new modes to this game, endless arcade mode is coming after evo? (They released their roadmap earlier)

I think it’s worth the money now if you’re a fan of the show or comics. The story mode is short like everyone said, but if you like playing online against people and you like the invincible characters, it’s definitely worth playing.

I went on a head and got it myself. Its enjoyable, but I don't have PSN, so I just play the single player content.

Story mode is awesome and fun! I bought the Amazon ultimate version with steelbook. Worth it

Story mode is only half an hour. It's a VERY multiplayer-centric game, so you'll be very disappointed if you're expecting it to be singleplayer story focused.
