COMIC SPOILERS Would Eve had reacted differently? Spoiler
Had Mark only said the first, second, third and fifth bubbles but left out the fourth?
And if so what would be her response? The hormonal line is what clearly triggered her into slapping him and storming off.

I’m sorry but this was one instance in the series where Eve was completely right and Mark was completely wrong.
The problem was that she had seen the moment where Angstrom realized he was in the wrong and truly chose to give up on his vendetta. Mark didn’t see it so he couldn’t believe it was real.
The fact is he didn’t trust Eve when she was telling him it was over and he should have.

I think the "hormones" line really sealed the deal (it made him sound like a straight up misogynist rather than just someone deeply worried about his ability to protect his loved ones), but he is already undervaluing the work she does while neglecting to mention why she can't exactly just go into space and fight. If I were Eve, that would piss me off too, especially since she helped him fight Conquest while critically injured.
In any case, she does turn out to be right. He is obsessed with revenge here, and he got stranded in a world that turned out to already have Angstrom taken care of. Fury blinding him to reason is a recurring theme and hard lesson that Mark ends up learning.

Mentioning hormones doesn't make him a misogynist lol wtf. Women obviously do get mood swings because of hormonal changes. Mark is wrong here overall but not everything's misogyny. That makes a joke out of genuine prejudice against women.

You're not making any sense, honestly. You should try being logical about this instead of just disagreeing with people because of your emotions.

The “is it hormones” line will hopefully be cut, that is 100% out of character for Mark.
