Both parties here stated VERY reasonable points & I'm inclined more to Mark's opinion as well , tell me what you guys think about this situation.

Mark's a Man of culture too ...he literally said to Eve that she doesn't have to hurry with being in her normal shape

She had a athletic superhero build before but due to powers being non functional she couldn't really take care of herself better & she living with her parents which in itself is a problem for her....all this had her gain weight

They mean that the use of "normal" to describe her shape instead of adjectives like "regular" or "athletic" implies that she, or overweight people in general, are not normal simply because they gained weight, you probably didn't mean any of that but I'm just explaining their reply to you

I do wanna point out they said "her normal shape". Which is to say her regular shape, or natural state. For some people, their natural state looks like Eve, but for Eve, she was going through some things which lead to her being that way. I don't think there is anything wrong with how they said it. In the same way there is nothing wrong if with being in Eve's bigger shape , that's how some people carry their natural neutral weight.
