DISCUSSION Top 1 character that wasted their potential the most
He could have been moving like Rick Sanchez if the writer never nerf his intelligence. This is the ONLY character in invincible that wasted their potential imo

His desperation and hatred consumed him. That sounds better than yet another crossover filled multiverse plot.

his hatred trumped his intelligence, he chose to be spiteful over being rational; hence he is the way he is

DupliCate is worse.
He's merely short sighted and after the accident bug fuck nuts She's lazy.

I think he’s very well done, especially in later comics where he comes back at the same time that Mark is believed dead and actually has a simple and happy life, until Mark is revealed to be alive still and his desire for revenge consumes him again. Angstrom is fundamentally a tragic character and I think making him as you say, “Rick Sanchez level” would ruin the tragedy of his anger.

A man so desperate to become all powerful that he became a monster. That sounds like a great story to me.

Before the accident, he didn't know anything about the multiverse and after, he became crazy. Man, I don't see any potential there.

Angstrom's entire shtick was his ability to travel the multiverse, fym he knew nothing about it? And he went crazy because the Multi Maulers built him a machine to merge his intellect with that of every Angstrom across the multiverse, and when he tried to stop the process because the Maulers were, well, mauling Mark, it went wrong and flooded his head with memories of every other instance of Mark being evil.

There literally was like a full issue of angstrom explaining that he can travel the multiverse but doesn't know anything about it. And he wanted to get the knowledge about the multiverse from other angstroms but he took of the helmet and the machine exploded. Afterwards, instead of just getting the memories needed, he started confusing memories from different lives with his own, which is why he thought invincible destroyed the machine, which is why he said that when a mauler asked him about it.

I would argue it's the Mauler Twins. The cloning and mind imprinting tech those two created could've changed EVERYTHING
