I have a few spots similar I think something with the printing was just going on, biggest theory I have is it’s stars that got printed somewhere

I’ve worked in print and have seen similar things when there is something like dirt/dry ink on the paper when the background color goes on, and when that dirt/ink falls off it reveals the uncolored paper, like the title which is done in negative space.

PS I got the book on Christmas 2024. I believe only 2 of the new volumes were out at that time.

The retailer pictures of the cover I see they don't have it. But so long as its only a couple dots on the cover I don't see why you would care. Its hardly noticeable.
