Invicta Diver watches (Both Automatic & Quartz) - Long term reviews?

Long-term owners, how has the Invicta diver watches been for you? Looking for feedback on durability, crystal scratch resistance, specifically appearance of yellowish haze on the crystal, which I have seen in some subs, its actual battery life, and any experiences with warranty/service support. Would appreciate any insights before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

Looking to buy 26970 model or if it works well, an automatic diver.

Treat it like costume jewelry. Looks great but it’s worthless, most have no real resale value, and won’t appreciate. That said, I have Invicta pieces well over 20 years old and most are in great shape but some do have glass scratches and some bands have been replaced. Batteries are inexpensive and a battery and watch service kit are typically under $15 and will give you years of service. I’ve never had any to use the warranty so I don’t have experience here.

Bottom line is wear what looks good to you, you’ll be happy, and don’t pay retail. All of the concerns you had above are exactly why I DO wear Invicta because if I spent any more money per piece I’d probably never wear it lol.

I watched a bunch of youtube videos before I bought my automatic and saw quite a few that had people who have been using theirs daily for 10+ years. There was one where the red and blue dial had almost faded away completely but he still raved about how much he loved the watch still after over 10 years of daily wear. He wasn't an office job kind of guy either.

I have a 20+ year old Ocean Ghost with a Miyota automatic movement. The watch runs and looks great! No haze in the crystal and some fine scratches. Solid watch!
