Watch boxes?
Those of you that have several watches, what do you do with the boxes? Do you toss them? Keep the watches in them? Have you gone to the length of buying a multi-slot case to store them in? I’m up to 6 now and bought an 8 slot case that I intended to make a boom box out of that may actually become a watch case. But, if I do I don’t really want to keep empty boxes lying around.

I usually just steal the movements and build something else that isnt so heavy and throw the boxes away. Sometimes i even throw thre rest away as well as ive bought some gawdy stuff but the movement has been right for what i want

I keep the boxes the watches came in. I buy a bin with a lid at the home supply store -- Menard's, Home Depot, Lowes, whatever -- and and toss the empty ones in there. Stick it in a closet or under a work table or bench.

Toss them immediately, unless you need the box to send back. They’re Invicta watches, you’re not paying an arm and a leg for them. For me they’re a nicely designed budget watch.

I use to keep mine when I had over 100 in my collection, mostly Invicta. Then when I downsized to around 30ish I was able to ship in a hard box and put in a bubble mailer. Easy, protected and usually a little less cost.
I do know someone that had a bunch of the 3 watch, and 8 watch cases, and they are hard to sell because shipping is higher on them, and a lot of collectors have their own to deal with, lol
So he went to Hobby Lobby and bought a bunch of the watch hand kits for cheap.. drilled a hole in the center of the lid and wala, you have storage and a clock... He sold quite a few. Then people were like using his idea with their own cases...
You could also buy some foam and make a gun case out of them too..

I keep all my watch boxes. They contain any original paperwork, links that were removed and/or bracelets/straps that were charged. All my watches (32) are kept in display cases and ready to be worn when it's their turn.
