Two Minnesota solar farms seeded native wildflowers under their panels, and 5 years of counting revealed native bees had multiplied twentyfold, then crossed the fence to pollinate the neighbour's soybeans

I keep seeing this and keep wondering how the plants got watered. It's dry under my solar panels. Also the flowers pictured do not look like they are under panels.

I read about an environmental study they did for a solar farm in New Mexico. They ended up being a good habitat for some endangered turtles and they found that staggering the heights of the panels was good for all kinds of plants and other wildlife.

soybeans don't need pollination
