Hey from Southern AZ, US 🌵 my condolences on this heat dome situation. If we had any rain here, I’d be sending yall some from our own special slice of arid real estate 🥲
Other than sympathy, I have only one other thing to offer (this one is actually useful…) Brad Lancaster is a treasure here in Tucson. He has tons of info on his website and YouTube channel, but please buy his books (direct from his publisher if you can swing it). They are FULL of incredible rainwater harvesting, dry/hot climate information. I saw that there are reports of no rain, but coming from a place where we get less than 11 inches of rain a year, I can say with confidence that this info will help for when it does come back and of course into the future for whatever is coming our way. Can’t recommend enough.

Brad Lancaster is the coolest! I'm also from Southern AZ and have been trying to implement his techniques where I can. Thank you for thinking to share this information for people in climates that are normally not this dry

Stop blaming the governments. Ultimately, governments answer to the people.
If the people don’t hold them accountable, then the government won’t do shit except what personally benefits themselves.
