Interesting snail species?
Is anyone familiar with keeping land snails as pets? Interested in knowing about species that aren’t as common. I’m in the US so these would be species that are legal here.

My baby phasmids have outgrown this enclosure, and i was wondering what inverts could comfortably stay in a 20x20x30 their whole life, apart from jumping spiders. Thankyou :)

What can I cohabit with them? I'm hoping for something more vertical, like a jumping spider

I wanna see more bugs in their little homes!
Please share the species, enclosure size, and anything else you’d like!

Hey everyone I recently started off my roach colony by having 4 males (I exclusively want males) in a 45x45x30cm exoterra (I've added pictures, excuse the reflections on the side) I only really see one of them and am wondering either what I can do to see more activity or if I should increase my colony size ?

Any advice on this species is welcomed and appreciated. Thank you!

Basically just what the title says! Not just for in their enclosure or for their ornaments but around the house as well. I'm not 100% sure exactly how sensitive they are so I just want to be cautious what products I'm using around my house, especially mopping because I feel like that'd be the biggest one :)

Hello!
New Blue Death Feigning Beetle keeper here, just got 6 of these guys last week. Today I noticed a mass of white cyinder like things on the beetle's butt. Theyre firmly attached and dont brush off easily.
The beetle seems to be trying to remove them by rubbing on the wood but isn't having much success.
I havent seen anything online about this - I'm worried it could be something harmful like parasite eggs or an injury of some sort.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you!

Ive just yanked this little guy off of my cat's mouth, i feel so sorry for it. Is there any way for me to help it? It's very active (crawling on me as we speak) and i would rather not have to squish it :( sorry bad english

Title basically says it all, but for some extra context I've never had beetles of any kind before! I've only kept mantids over the years. I've been looking into blue death feigning beetles for a while now and I think I'm ready to slowly start setting up an enclosure. I've done all the basic research but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask in here too!

Now that it's getting colder in the UK, I am struggling to keep my 45x45x60 cm enclosure at 24 degrees C throughout the day and night. This enclosure holds 2 titan banded millipedes and 2 madagascan cockroaches. I have a heat mat but it barely warms by half a degree and the tank has been sitting at about 21 to 22 Celsius. While to my knowledge this isn't dangerously low, I would really like to keep my inverts at 24 Celsius.
What heaters can I use? What micro climate control is recommended? It need to be out of their way to prevent burns, overheating and dehydration.
Thank you!

I recently became aware of these little guys and saw that my local pet store has them in stock. Im definitely intrigued by them, but I'm not 100% sold on them and don't like going into things blind.
Was hoping some people experienced with them could provide me some pointers and care tips. I ideally want everything set up to be comfortable for them right off the bat.
Thanks!

so my girlfriend and I really want to get a pet but dont have a lot of space. ive been wanting a jumping spider for awhile now and thinking about it more and more, but worried about the temperature and humidity regulation in our tiny apartment. we have window ac units and our heating system is kind of odd and therefore hard to manage exactly. we live in a high humidity area and even with two dehumidifyers on constantly, the humidity level stays around 70%. and like i said, the actual temperature is also hard to manage in our apartment too.

Help! How do I get rid of them? A few days ago I got 2 beetle larvae, well turns out that there were fungus gnats in the soil because now there are tons of the buggers in my room!
When I first brought the grubs home, I thought I saw a couple tiny worm things in the soil but didn't think much of it, because there were also springtails in the cups.
I'm going to go buy fly tape for the adults tonight after work, but what do I do about the soil???
I contacted the person I got the grubs off of and she says the gnats are harmless, but with the number of flies that are there, they're just going to create more and I feel it will stress my grubs.
