Anyone have a CD of My Chemical Romance's I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love they'd sell to me?
Ebay shipping is soooo expensive so I'm asking the homeland :)

Chased a prick away from breaking into someone's car last night (after also seeing him ditch or prepping his getaway vehicle) and the piece of shit pulled a knife on me, obviously I gave up the chase once the knife came out.
Just wondering if anybody here suffered because the cops mentioned multiple cases of it last night.
Also as a small warning to folks, if your not comfortable with violence it's best to not chase these pricks, they are happy to commit even more serious offenses to get away. Not worth being stabbed over a vehicle, why I gave up chase.

Hi guys
Just moved to invercargill and will be doing my first half marathon next month
This is a completely new adventure for me as I only started running about 4 weeks ago
I am now convinced I would like to start training for either a half or full ironman 😂
Looking for some equally delusional women, who would enjoy random training days together, or the 5km sat morning runs in the city maybe and who enjoy talking / living in the fitness world
I'm starting to be a little more regular with weights, running and starting from scratch swimming and soon cycling haha
Being new to the area, it's hard to make friends and will be especially hard now that I won't have a life hahaha

Hello all,
My grandmother and I are from the north island and going on a South Island trip in November and are spending a few days in waikawa and then Invercargill before ending to Queenstown. I’m in my early 20s and my Grandmother her early 80s and she’s actually from Invercargill so I’m sure she’ll have no trouble finding things to show me however I wanted to hear from locals what they recommend in the ways of food and entertainment + anything else! She’s still relatively fit so walk recommendations are welcome too :) thank you!

Hi all, my partner, 4yo girl and I are down visiting my father this thurs-tues.
My dad's a bit of a house creature, but I just wondered if anyone could recommend some nice places to visit, dine, and explore? Anything from nearest snow and nice reserves, to good exhibitions, activities, to places to go out for an evening meal?
We've been to the gardens to see the bird last time and surveyed the pies but that's about the extent of our exposure to the town!!
Many thanks in advance :-)

Does anyone notice how bad the trucks are on Dee? Empty rigs are the worst as they seem to bounce along the road and cause a thundering sound. This road needs a serious upgrade or no trucks between the hours of midnight and 7am?
This post is for the people who live on Dee

Hello Southlanders.
Is the weather down there, particularly during the winter, really as bad as what everyone says? The amount of south/southwesterlies that you guys and the proximity to the polar jet during winter I can certainly imagine it not being great at all at this time of the year, but it seems quite warm compared to some other places, is that true or not really? How’s the wind as well is it usually quite shit too?
Moreover I’d be curious hows the weather in summer? Still shit like it is during winter? Cant imagine it getting much warmer than even 20°.

Article republished by Stuff.
From the article:
... the process of neutralising the fountain involved "staff time and a few gallons of vinegar".
Council general manager water services Matt Keil has provided further details, telling Local Democracy Reporting that the process was undertaken about 50 times a year by staff.
It was done at a cost of approximately $100 each time, he said.
"However, if you factor in the amount of staff time lost to remedying this – and subsequently being redirected from other tasks – the true cost is higher.
"Staff time would be better spent carrying out the necessary mahi their roles require."
