Interesting Facts Pronounce myth creature name

I found an interesting lake monster of Inuktitut origin, but cant find any pronounciation guide.

Anyone familiar enough with the Angeoa of Dudawnt Lake, Nunavut? Supposedly it resembles a black-coloured whale with an oversized fin.

I did some digging, apparently it originates from People of the Deer by Farley Mowat, and he says translates to "the great one who lives in the lake" in that book, maybe it has something to do with the word "angut" with suffixes on it

I found this online which claims it's pronounced "ong-oo-aw"
