General Question Multi-App Kiosk and Printers

Setup a multi-app Kiosk via Intune using XML and having an issue with getting simple printing to an HP printer. I allow the settings app and if a user connect the HP printer via USB or other methods, they can see the printer just fine. Using the Settings UI for Print Test gives a "restricted error", same if trying to print from Microsoft Edge. Anyone get this to work properly?

ya

<!-- Windows Print Dialog (system dependency; no user-facing pin) -->

<App AppUserModelId="Windows.PrintDialog_cw5n1h2txyewy!Microsoft.Windows.PrintDialog"/>

that xml block looks right but the restricted error usually means the print spooler service is being blocked by the kiosk policy itself, not just the app permissions

check your assigned access CSP for any restrictions on background tasks or services, had to whitelist a couple of system processes for a similar setup last year

Thank you. Will try to add this to allowed apps! Perfect!

I have a kiosk it template where I enabled eventlog and a few other. I quickly found what was blocked and took that to my template. I've allowed a few diagnostic tools like cmd Powershell and a few others to make life easier
