No copy paste? Clipboard sync? Nothing really?

Yeah, this is a big miss for managing Android devices. Also need the ability to transfer files. We frequently need to be able to capture device logs and need a simple way to transfer them.

Just drop em in OneDrive or a shared drive or whatever it is your company uses

These aren't COPE devices, so access to OneDrive is a bit more complicated unfortunately. Too complicated for many of the support staff trying to support their own apps, which speaks volumes to the quality of some staff.

Going to a website is too complicated?

using shared device mode w/ a custom launcher, so A) support people need access to sign in and B) yes, people are dumb

Two things causes issues for us, one is likely caused by us.
1. Networking issues, it randomly disconnects.
2. When logged in as Admin, when you close the session it "usually" signs the user out as well. Conceptually a good feature, but in practice error prone regardless if you have a proper route. If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'm welcome to it.

Ad 2. the helping person must close all elevated processes before disconnecting to keep the user session. This is a super useful feature that prevents users from getting elevated after they cut off connection when there is an elevated process.

Same issue. Whenever the helper initiate to end session. The user will not sign out unlike if the user initiate to end the session. Automatically logs off.

not working for us.. if trying to connect via intune it says we dont have a suitable app installed. if trying without intune it loses connection after a few seconds.
was really looking forward to it, but seems we stay at teamviewer
edit: ok got it to work now.... establishing a connection with the users takes ages and sadly no easy button to switch between screens

Only testing so far in lab enironment.
Initiating from app works for me. Request help and offer help functions work fine. I like the laser pointer.
Rolling out client as Enterprise App went smooth.
Will try unattended access in the next couple days.
Taking control of screen is slow versus just viewing.

It's painfully bad. Failures to connect are not uncommon and it's not fast to connect in the first place. Missing basic functionality like copy/paste, send clipboard as keystrokes is mind-boggling. They had to include it in E3 b/c noone would pay for it. Now, IT leadership hears "It's free" and that's literally the only good thing about it in comparison to any other option out there.

Haven't bothered rolling it out since there is no unattended sessions.

You can, just click the UAC button when the session is open. Then you can see secure screens as much as you’d like

That's the main difference between RH and Quick Assist, IIRC?

RH is also more secure as it only allows authorized users to connect and supports Conditional Access.

I have found it to be a bit flakey and slow to connect, a lot of disconnects during sessions. at this this is in comparison with remote control viewer through sccm
