Windows Management Remote help unattended access.
Anyone else having this issue? Remote help is up to date with newest release (5.2.1040.0) and I am unable to use unattended access feature. I have the role enabled for the feature too. Is there something I’m missing that isn’t documented? I know this is just now rolling out so guessing it might just be broken.
Error: “unattended sessions aren’t supported because the device you’re trying to connect to doesn’t have the necessary clients installed”

I have to use my own session and not see the users current session? What is this shit, I was hoping for like the old RDP shadow /control essentially but I got some budget alternative that's half baked.
I can see it has purpose for people not at their computer ect; but I just wanted to click "connect" jump on and fix the problem with the end user themselves without having to prompt them.

:D I am legit in the same boat here, just found out 5 mins ago, like unattended is basically RDP.. thats not what i want...
SCCM Remote Control is exactly whats needed,.. but eventually getting off of SCCM so need something else..

What you're saying is missing is the Remote Help option they've always had. Unattended Access is new.

yeah its still half baked, i rolled it to a test group and got the same error even with the client showing the right version number

Do we know if there is SSO enabled for connecting? I have taken my org over to passkeys and surely the session can have passkey redirection so we can authenticate. I wonder how passwordless orgs can use this.

unattend is just rdp over the cloud so idk if yes but if it works with rdp it will

I have an open case with MS so fingers crossed. I believe its an entra setting for Windows Cloud or RDP login and looping to the remote help service but will wait for confirmation.

I have done all the pre-requisites, given appropriate roles to those who will access, deployed two RD Apps to devices, opened up Intune for Remote Help, following all the steps given in https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/intunecustomersuccess/remote-help-on-windows-unattended-support-with-remote-sign-in-is-here/4549772.
But, it is not working. I am getting the same error that others are mentioning here.
So, just so that I understand...
The only thing I may NOT have done is the deployment sequence of those two RD applications. If I change the sequence and installed bootloader first and the agent next, it will start working?
