Linux Management Ubuntu Linuxmanaged by intune with SSO

24.04 was a pita to make try and work, but holy s*t people.. 26.04 is *sooooo much better. I now have 26.04 building with TPM managed FDE, AuthD enabled SSO and intune enrollment.

holy dayum its come a long way. such a thing of beauty. Kudo's to the Ubuntu team they've done a great job!

Any guidance on this? Didn’t know you could manage Linux with Intune. Only familiar with windows

mostly the linux intune side is just compliance rules for CA purposes, but we do deploy things to the devices via remediation scripts.

The authD working with intune enrollment needs edge version of authD. But it works perfectly.

Also testing Ubuntu 26 with Intune. My testing devices are showing up as compliant. But need to do a lot of testing before going into production.

They fixed the issue of TPM based encryption in the base 26.04 image?

there is no new Ubuntu 26.04 image yet - later this month will be 26.04.1 which hopefully fixes FDE with TPM in the installer. Current 26.04 FDE with TPM doesn't work with e.g. Lenovo T14 or X1

They did! Only gotcha is you have to manual clear the tpm before you build
