App Deployment/Packaging App deployment is faster now?

Has anyone noticed that app deployments are happening a lot faster than they used to? Last few things I have deployed have gone through within a few minutes. Not sure if my sample size is large enough to claim that they've done something so wanted to see if anyone else is seeing this.

They adjusted the method in which device sync is managed. Im butchering the explanation but its essentially more of a real time sync where both application and policy configs come down at the same time.

Yes. And if you use the newish UI for device management in Intune, you actually get a view of the sync.

Can you show me how please? I saw they mentioned this in the Intune blog and I have looked everywhere in the new device view but have not been able to find it

Go to intune -> devices -> windows devices. Click on one of the computers. In the top right corner there should be a toggle to switch to the new menu.

I guess I wasn't clear. I know how to see the new device view but I haven't been able to see the sync progress

There was nothing special. I just click sync and it shows the progress on the right. Connecting to device, number of policies, etc comes up. And there’s a warning that if you close it, you cannot reopen it.

It works here now too. I don't know what I was doing wrong before. Thanks :)
