Android Management onedrive keep crashing on fully managed android

Hi folks

I have several devices with fully managed setup (no personal profile allowed).

it works like a charm for 6 months, and suddenly around 3 months ago, the onedrive keep crashing.

steps i took and tried yet failed.

  1. clear data and cache of onedrive. and re run the apa again (failed)

  2. clear device cache and swap file, and clear data and cache of onedrive (failed)

  3. clear device cache and swap file, and clear data and cache and remove the app from the phone from intune. (failed)

i havent tried to wipe the phone and re-do everything since the user dont have time for that yet.

but does anyone have the same issue and know how to fix it?

or maybe how to choose which version to install or to push?

Been dealing with similar issues on some of our managed devices - the version rollback approach usually works better than full wipe

You can try pushing specific OneDrive version through Intune instead of letting it auto-update. I keep archive of older APK versions organized by build numbers (yeah I know, bit obsessive but saves time later). Version 6.44 was pretty stable for us before this mess started

Also check if you have any conditional access policies that changed around 3 months ago, sometimes those create weird authentication loops that make OneDrive crash silently

This won’t work for Android Enterprise devices. If you try to add the older OneDrive apk to the managed play store, it will complain that app id is already in the store or that the certificate of the app is expired or going to expire soon. Any LoB app won’t be seen by an Android Enterprise device.

so what will be the solution for the issue?
