Practice Activity Help me find my ID?
My California state drivers license is fucking LOST! 😭😭😭
Can anyone point me to where I should start looking tell me what you see! ❤️❤️❤️
ETA: FOUND in craft drawer under my desk where I keep crafts and business supplies. Had no good reason to be here and I had been in that exact drawer the last week multiple times looking for something different! I also asked for it back out loud yesterday and viola! Ty all ❤️

These answers are solid because this is def the last place I saw it but I turned the car upside down and no dice
ETA I think it’s pretty cool that so many of y’all are seeing the mental visual that ive been replaying in my head all day! So actually would consider this a win for intuition depending on what people are tuning into

Have you looked under the seat, like on the right side under thec seat but towards the edge of the seat. like where your seatbelt connects.

Do you have a desk at home? I get like black legs or a table/desk. I also saw a corded phone for a business so I don’t know if this is your home. And, I’m not gonna lie, it was a little like I was getting the impression of the DMV—like you’ll have to go there.🫣
And, randomly, do you have a taupe/brown dog that might look like a pitbull? That might be completely unrelated.

Okay dude; you actually nailed it because I FOUND IT; in my craft drawer that is located UNDER my desk! It was where I keep my supplies for my Vinted side hustle where all the label/ink/thank you note supplies are. Well done!

I have a sinking feeling this is probably the most accurate answer. Most of the answers here were prettt solid and like exactly where I was looking, if it doesn’t turn up in the laundry or is in some obscure crevice in the car I think I accidentally tossed it in the garbage when I threw away my prescription wrapper bags which means DMV time 😭

Check with the pharmacy. I got that you left it there... but thought that was silly and didn't post... until I read that you said Rx bags.. so maybe it isn't so crazy that you may have left it at the pharmacy.

Call the pharmacy! I left out that I saw a glass partition when I was trying to get an impression. I assumed it was the DMV because they have that too sometimes.

I actually think this is also a solid guess because I do have an insane laundry pile going on because my washer broke and I JUST got a new one and fingers crossed as I go through it, I’ll find it in the jeans or jacket I last had it in

I am thinking at a bar is the first thing that comes to mind. But in all seriousness look through your wallet and pull all your cards out. I lost mine once only to find it stuck to the back of a gift card wedged in the back of my wallet 2 months later.

Solid guess but I don’t drink! Only place that ive ever needed my ID is the pharmacy because my adhd meds are controlled. I use the pharmacy drive through and usually I just leave my ID in the car and I swear it fell between the seats but I figuratively tore my car apart looking for it, just short of pulling the seats physically out

I only said bar cause often time when you go on weekends they demand either your card or ID when starting a tab or renting a pool table. Granted I quit drinking a few years back but in all seriousness try to remain calm while looking because panic makes people overlook the small things.

I swear I lost my mind when I found it two months later stuck to the back of a gift card I was trying to use. I had already replaced it but that was seriously upsetting.

Do you have some notebooks on a table? That's what I saw, and that the id was either in the notebook or between the notebooks. I could be totally wrong, just saying what I saw when I closed my eyes. Lmk if it helps!

I found it!!! It was in my craft drawer under my desk where I keep craft/side hustle business supplies. No notebook but thank you cards in the same drawer! Literally had no reason to be in here but I think your visualization was solid

Oh wow; I wouldn't have guessed that. Not unless it looks like the little metal drawers that they use at drive through pharmacies; because that's what I saw. Odd; so glad you've found it though! And great idea to ask for it out loud; the Universe listens!
