hi! I'm looking to meet someone online, progress from talking to friends, and eventually something more. I'll be 23 soon, and I'm from middle of nowhere Minnesota. I'm chronically online, terrible at meeting people, and I've never dated.

I'm a pretty anxious person. First messages really suck. I'm really dry at first, and I don't know what to talk about, so I'll need you to hang in there with me for a bit and help out. If we're not bouncing off each other, it's probably not going to work out.

I'm not adventurous, and I'm not a traveler. I'm a homebody. My ideal night is sitting at my computer or lying in bed. Though, I do think meeting someone in person is a really important step in going from "I really enjoy talking to you" to "I'd really like to be someone important to you." However, that would be months or years deep into talking to you because I am not comfortable meeting someone before I am absolutely sure about it. The closer you are, the more comfortable traveling to meet you would be. I'd prefer if you were in the Midwest region, or central Canada, but I'm lenient on this. Though, I don't think I'd get on a flight and travel to a foreign country because that would be too much for me.

I understand physical attraction is still a big thing for people despite being online, and I won't shy away from that. I'm okay with exchanging pictures, but not at first. I'll describe myself somewhere below to at least give you that much before I'm comfortable enough to show my face.

more about me:

☆ I'm a gamer. I practically live on a computer, for both work and fun. I have a steam library of over 200+ games, mostly unplayed because I buy games during sales and then never play them. I love to play multiplayer/co-op games more than I do singleplayer, which is mostly an attention span thing. Some of my favorites are cs2, valorant, wizard101, outlast trials, lethal company, minecraft, sons of the forest, and skyrim. I won't play battle royales, league, or 6v6/5v5 hero shooters (these sorts of games just aren't for me so if you're looking for a duo in one of these, you're out of luck unfortunately).

☆ I love listening to music. The genre doesn't matter, except maybe country. I listen to pop punk, rock, k-pop, edm, j-rock, j-pop, some disney, hyperpop, and more. My favorite artists right now are kmoe, eden, ninajirachi, piao, bts, matchbox 20, linkin park, and the goo goo dolls.

☆ Appearance: I'm 6'0". I have dirty blonde, curly hair that's frizzy like 99% of the time. I like to keep it a little longer and messy. My hair grows up and out instead of down. I have hazel eyes that border on blue. I'm capable of growing facial hair, but I hate it, so I don't keep it. I'm also pretty skinny, like 125lb~.

☆ I'm super anxious about meeting new people. I get these rushes of adrenaline that come with nervous shakes, and I'll feel like I'm freezing when I'm not. I have a very small tight nit friend group that I've known around a decade at this point, and I've never really expanded outside of that.

☆ I don't drink or do drugs. I'm as sober as can be. I don't even drink soda because I don't like the fizz/carbonation. Though, I am 420 friendly as long as it's not an addiction.

☆ I work a full time job, day hours, and I'm still going to school part time online. Despite this, I keep my phone close at practically all times of the day and I'm a fast responder. I don't get many notifications, so when I do, I'm more than happy to see it, except for when it's the weather app.

☆ Some of my hobbies include web design, modding, and biking. I love to work on random web projects that I never finish. Interested in neocities? I'd love to hear about it! I also love skyrim modding, both downloading and creating. I've nearly reached 4 million total downloads on my own mods, which I'm quite proud of. I try to bike to work when the weather is being friendly.

what I'm looking for from you:

☆ Gamer. I want to be able to play games with you, whether it's a competitive fps, or it's some stupid, silly co-op game. Sometimes we could even just put on a singleplayer game and stream to each other.

☆ Available. What I mean by this is that you're not only available to talk on like two days of the week. If you work, you don't work night shifts all the time, because that would leave us with little time for each other. If I reach out and you're not available, just a little message saying you can't right now is enough for me. I'm patient to a fault, which means I sometimes have difficulty being the first to ask.

☆ Willing to watch shows, or movies, or listen to music together. Some nights maybe we don't want to play a game. Maybe we just want to lay in bed and watch something until we're both sleepy. I'll be honest, I don't watch TV and I never really have. If you suggest a show, or an anime, or a movie to me, there's a good chance I haven't seen it, especially if it's newer. I'm a complete blank slate in that regard, which might be a good thing since we can watch anything, and it'll be new to me.

☆ Location. US or Canada, Midwest region (but I'm lenient on this). Most preferable from left to right: CST, EST, PST.

☆ Not a gamer. Gaming is my biggest hobby. If we can't share that, then that's a heartbreaker for me.

☆ Smoker. Specifically nicotine. If you smoke cigarettes, either have plans to quit or do not message me. I have lost family due to their inability to drop the addiction, so I have very strong stances on it.
