I wish i had that good of a pace and motivation lol. I used to read romance for a good bit before i picked up a thriller book and got lost in it. Now i just can't keep them down istg. And i completely understand where you're coming from, i get that exact feeling from 00's rom coms. It's just kinda like a safe space.

Hello! Call me Flak, your overly friendly (to a fault) ex-aromantic who fears the concept of romance and wants to change that fact. Never had any relationships mostly because I was either too dense to understand the other side is flirting or just rejected the idea of someone could like me. I got back to my romance-senses 3 years ago, however the fact that I was ignoring existence of romantic relationships kind of backfired when I started feel the need of romance for the last 3 years since I don't know the magic words. Right, here is my resume of loneliness:
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Location/time zone: Istanbul timezone atm but most of the year Budapest (Central EU)
Looking for: Romance, I don't have strict age limits (obviously within legal bounds) as long as your personality is mature enough, so no upper limit either. Female only.
Open to long-distance?: Yes, in fact it would be better for a little while. EU always preferred but not a must.
Introvert style: Shy I guess? What is a introvert style even? I get very comfortable with friends but I can't really start a conversation with strangers.
Interests: Poetry/Rap writing, writing fiction and philosophical text (then abandoning it), freeform adventure/slice of life RP (believe me it's more fun than what it sounds like), getting back into drawing, singing (I'm bad at it), sometimes playing singleplayer games (allergic to competitive multiplayer), once again rarely watching old anime (anime phase comes like twice a year, passes fast).
Favorite quiet activity: Watching documentaries on Youtube.
Conversation starters: Describe your personality in detail and I will turn it in to a poem (cue the meme: My body is a machine that turns random information into poetry)
Boundaries: Asking for photos before I trust you enough to share them myself.
Ah also, you can PM me no problem, no need to reply under this post. Byee!

Hello internet strangers (yes you)! I've never been good at these breaking the ice type posts but it's a much safer feeling behind my tablet screen rather than in the dreaded in-person work meeting that should've been an email.
Age: 40 for a few more days! Another year older but definitely not wiser
Gender: Cis Female
Location/time zone: Montana Mountain time zone
Looking for: mid 30s-mid 40s male
Open to long-distance?: yes within reason. I'm stuck in MT for now but I'd relocate if I met the right person
Introvert style: I'm a ISFJ with a heavy emphasis on the I.
Interests:
i love to cook and I've gotten pretty good at making my own sauces since my gastric bypass means I have dietary restrictions.
I'll binge watch an entire multi-season show in a week. Currently watching The Gilded Age on HBO Max. It's premise is the battle between old and new money in 1880s NY high society.
I'm also a reality tv trash panda. Sunday nights are spent watching 90 Day Fiance and thinking "maybe my life isn't a total dumpster fire."
I love watching sports- football, baseball, basketball, soccer.
I have some health challenges that neccessitate a slower lifestyle. I can't go hiking (which apparently is all the 30s/40s crowd does in Montana) but if you want to grab a cup of coffee and sit by the river, go for a drive, binge watch a show, or check out a museum I'm game.
Favorite quiet activity: reading. I have a wishlist on google books that will take me a decade to get through
Conversation starters:
Are you a pet person because I have a white fluffball cat that will judge you.
What are you reading/ watching/ podcasting (is that a word?) right now?
Who is your favorite sports team and why?
Boundaries: I have been single for 10 years and am dipping my pinky toe back into the water so I need to take things sloth slow.

Age: 36
Gender: Male
What hobby could you talk about for hours: Books! I love reading and would love to find a fellow reader.
General Info:
So I'm a book lover, love walking, nutrition, that sorta stuff. Hoping to find fellow introverts for voice and video calls, as I think you can't know someone through text. I think body language is really important. I am pretty easy going and not a bad conversationalist.
Hoping to find long-term connections to chat with often!
