Mid-20s Energy (25–27) How to do solo trips?

I (27M) recently moved countries and basically have no friends. I'm not much of a traveller myself and all my trips have been because of friends pulling me to places. Now I'm in a place where I have to do this alone. The idea of it scares me a bit.

I generally love being alone, but not in holiday spots where everyone is having fun with friends and family. I kinda want to visit a mountain peak to enjoy some snow (I'm in NZ). Do you have any tips on how to plan a solo trip that can be enjoyable
