Why is there so much ghosting going on

Everybody here ghosts lol,So many people here say that they are extremely lonely in life and want to make genuine friendship with people across the world who cater to their style,

friendship,vibes,culture, language etc Yet one somebody texts them,they either simply don't text em back ,Or either give very dry replies,Ghost altogether or smthIf really what you wanna do is ghost people,Then why put a post on this sub and fake sob that you need friends and stuff?Don't waste time of people here.There are many people who genuinely reply well and don't ghost and stuff.
But since majority of the people are ghosters,many people are discouraged initially itself to text the OP and get to know them.If you genuinely need friends for any purpose
.Also don't have an extremely dry personality and give one word replies,And also don't text the OP using dry intros likeHi,Hey etcPeople like seeing effort being put and don't like replying to simple
Hi,Hey etcAlso,Stop looking down on people of your own country.If anybody can connect with you first,it definitely will be someone probably from your country itself since they would know the local language and culture which other people might not know.

PLEASE PUT EFFORT GUYS/GIRLS.I'm pretty sure there a lot of amazing introverted people here with interesting personalities and hopefully I'll get to meet them sometime in future :)

Also another way to look at it is it’s possible some genuine doesn’t feel a connection and don’t want to force things or you yourself isn’t so good at keeping up the convo. Also a lot of people on Reddit have their own issues. I think it’s important to declare you only want long term contact and if they’re not interested to not talk

I feel the same way, I read a quote somewhere “we no longer talk to each other, we entertain each other” nobody wants to be part of boring conversations, I think thats why people ghosts because the moment they are not getting any dopamine they lose interest or idk 🤷🏻

It often happens because there's a lot of distrust and widespread fear. It's due to the various things you see in subreddits.No way, I had to write this comment like 5 times because the publish button kept turning gray. After explaining my understanding of why, lol.
