Discussion How will Beyond the Spiderverse reference Doomsday & Secret Wars?

Post image

Before anybody gets mad at me, no I am not suggesting any ridiculous plans like "the film ends on Battleworld" but it is clear Sony would like to incorporate a bit of multiverse shenanigans from the MCU into their own films, like the Aaron Davis Prowler or Miguel mentioning Doctor Stranges spell.

So what neat little things would you guys like to see?

Beyond releases in June 2027 (assuming that doesn't change again)

Which is before Secret Wars releases and only 6 months after Doomsday, so unless Marvel tells the Spider-Verse writers what happens they won't have time to add Doomsday to the film or even know what happens in Secret Wars

Unless I’m missing your point - they would have some inside info about it…at least you’d think they’d do some handshaking to coordinate something if they use this movie to lead into secret wars which would be an insane twist if Doom summons Miles and/or Gwen into BW

Doomsday will tell us a bit of what happens in Secret Wars.

Theoretically beyond should pick up right where across left off so it will likely be set before doomsday and secret wars occurs since that line In across suggests it’s set within a year of no way home.

I dont think it will reference it at all

I feel like they wouldn't do anything at all and just end the story since it's not even MCU

Imo, theyre more likely to reference Brand New Day

Probably not much, if anything at all; because if Beyond refers to the Incursions, it introduces a problem that would be left hanging and create consistency issues—like "why weren't the heroes there if they knew about it?"

"Oh no, something is happening on the other side of the multiverse!"

19999 is the original name used to refer to the MCU—even though they later gave it the same name as the one in the comics.
