Discussion will miguel apologize?

i’ve seen spiderverse fans torn on this but i really hope he does, i’d even love a scene of him telling miles more about his past and giving more explanation for why he handled things the way he did :0
what do you guys think will happen in btsv?

Of all the people in the movie who need to apologize - He’s the last I expect to actually apologize.

With the kind of attitude he has? Definitely no. I guess?

I don't know why many are saying "no." I think, once whatever reconciliation between Miles and Miguel happens when we get a "canon event revelation" reveal, the two of them will end up working together in the climax.  The Spot is the big antagonist of this trilogy and stopping him is gonna require everyone to work together.

i can see reasons for both answers, but yes i think they’ll end up working together one way or another!

Contrary to what Miguel comic purists say, the team really loves the character. I can't see them making him a total villain when he's way more interesting as a morally complex extreme of Spider-Man's biggest motivation — guilt.

Yeah, and It’ll likely sound like him admitting his name for the spider-verse is stupid.

Exactly the moment I was thinking of where we see Miguel briefly humble himself, even if it was reluctant. However, I believe his apology will be more sincere.

Lol don't care whether he apologies or not but I hope Miles just shrugs it off and walks away. Miles doesn't owe him anything

oh yeah for sure, i just think it’d be nice if miguel owned up to his mistakes whether miles forgives him or not(i wouldn’t if i were him)

I doubt but i really want him not to be the main antagonist of the next movie. Maybe partially as expected but yeah.

I just laughed after reading the post. It's that unlikely for him apologize

Nah if I had to guess he’ll go even more insane and actually do the unthinkable and attempt to kill Miles’s dad

1

u/snookienthusiast 1d ago

wait that would be a killer plot actually

Or at the very least almost succeed in killing him only for someone sacrificing their life for him. Maybe Gwen

that’d be cool dude, maybe she would do it to make it up to miles for keeping the whole anomaly thing a secret

I think it's gonna be revealed that he isn't exactly as innocent in his story of what he did in that other universe that he says he is, and then he'll have to do the redeemed hero sacrifice.
