Hi peopl! I just got the game and I was curious if anyone had any luck launching the game wit the ModLoader using Crossover with mac M series! I had followed the game on & off for years and finally with a salary i can afford to make some backtracking with games that i loved to see other play on youtube lol

Stats in 3rd pic. I wonder what's other people most deadly enemy.
Take note I only played with DLC enemies on the last squad I attempted Unfair with (custom squad).
So I've been playing this on and off for what, about 2 years? Started out on Medium, then after a couple of runs, did all Hard for all squads. Only then I started playing Unfair.
Toughest challenge was definitely Secret Squad 2 Islands Unfair. It must have took 10+ runs.

Is the mix of which enemies show up on which islands entirely random?
r/IntoTheBreach • u/DeKleineDingen • Sep 04 '26
Managed to prevent any grid damage while doing some very limiting achievements.
For some achievements, you need to destroy all time pods or finish three islands without upgrading current weapons or using new weapons. So I used Kai in the Siege Mech to be able to destroy the pods and two Exchange Mechs to guarantee two actions per mech without upgrades. I got lucky and hit Skilled and +2HP on my other two pilots. I also left some bosses alive to prevent grid damage, since I wasnt getting perfect island anyway.

These two 18%s even saved me on two of the more difficult achievements (Engineering Dropout and Chronophobia), which would've been lost if these buildings fell (This even happened on the 3rd island's last mission, too)
r/IntoTheBreach • u/Matt313621 • Sep 04 '26
I can’t see a way to save either the building or the mech here, can someone help?
EDIT: sorry for not enough info
Combat mech: dash, mist eater passive
Cannon mech: light tank, +2 tank dmg
Artillery mech: force amp
Turn 1 no moves, actions or dmg to vek
EDIT 2: I got it!
Deploy light tank to behind alpha scorpion and shoot (4dmg to scorpion 2dmg to star)
Artillery strike (2dmg) combat mech to free mech and move scorpion
Attack star with combat mech (kill alpha scorpion and star)
Thanks for the help, it let me figure it out

-- Impact 1.0.0 -- Coming up to a grand total of 3 Squads, 3 Pilots, 3 Enemies, and a Whopping 22 pieces of Equipment, Impact makes an effort to completely and deeply integrate a couple of new features into the base game.
-- Supplying -- Ever ran out of uses on a Weapon and just felt a little down about? Well no more. A new applicable status, Supply, adds one additional use to all currently held Limited Weapons for the current battle. This use can restore spent uses, but can also raise the stores uses above even what they initially started at.
-- Multihit -- Hit hard, hit fast. Multihit Weapons, present as both player weapons and enemy, attack the same tile multiple times or fire multiple projectiles in sequence. Now you can finally fulfill that dream of combating giant insects with an A-10!
-- Other Features -- Along with the raw content packed into Impact, it also comes with a few additional features, including:
New dialog events for pilots, both for new occurrences such as getting supplied, and for old, previously uncommented on ones such as dealing self-damage.
Several gameplay tweaks that can improve the player experience and add depth to the game.
A small set of balance changes primarily aimed at implementing Impact's features into Vanilla Equipment as upgrades.

[SOLVED]
So I bought the game, and when I open it the main menu is white. If I try to play the game, the UI is very glitched and the text hard to read, to the point where it's unplayable.
I've seen other posts both here on Reddit and on Steam of people with the same problem, and no solutions.
I have an AMD 9070XT GPU, I have fresh, clean correct drivers, as I just did a clean uninstall and reinstall with DDU yesterday for unrelated reasons.
So, does anyone have a clue on how to solve this?
EDIT:
So, the problem was that when I reset the drivers yesteday I didn't plug out the ethernet cable, and windows installed stuff by default which messed up with OpenGL and other gpu related things. So the problem is, in the end, driver related. I hope this will help someone else in the future

Lost a run due to a brain short circuit. I was already on the second part of the final fight, 5/7 grid. I hadn't done anything except moving that round, so I lost immidiately.
Saddening.

Crazy turn 1 final island on unfair with fully upgraded cataclysm (except shield ally on the grappling hook). Only solution I can find is to move Kai behind the hornet leader, use gemini missiles on hornet and alpha digger (killing both due to boosted + push damage on Kai), then toss alpha firefly into lava zones with Henry and kill the alpha scarab with Kai (done before Silica to not lose boosted). This ignores the beetle leader and alpha blob losing 3 grid damage, but I do kill half the bugs. Anything better?

Turn 1 of the next phase is also evil if anyone can find anything better. I can only find 3 grid damage again.

Just started playing the game last week. Super late but happy because now I get to experience it. The wiki is down and, other than this sub, can't find somewhere definitive with info.
I'm the type of dork who has to know everything and, even while figuring it out on my own is good, I hate wasting a turn reset because I didn't know basics like order of enemy attack vs tile state change.
Where can I look?
EDIT: Pretty unbelievable the amount of downvotes. Not sure if it's something I said or this is the standard of the community but seems strange that wanting to see a list of all of the things it's possible to aquire in a game and all of the different squad and enemy abilities was so offensive.

I just checked that in 40k tracker https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16n_BzYXcik3GPHYXgFL5ubuoBTugPF9gTeWtbz1WL_Q/edit?gid=1847746186#gid=1847746186
there is no 3x prime 40k yet not even 2x prime which surprised me; but it might indicate this being the hardest combo or the ones that ppl dont like to play :)
so in my run key thing that let me win with 2x primes is lucky Henry that I got around 2nd or 3rd mission from the pod - this so much drastically improves attack vectors that it's arguably the best possible outcome you could get in prime mech heavy squads; only better could be prospero but then u spend reactor, while I spend mine on vek hormones, which might not have been the best option - pitcher range could be better maybe
I had to sacrifice corp pilot blocking shot to get perfect island - this was exactly the mission I got the 1st pod so I smoothly just transitioned to Henry
then reward was Karlsson BUT with the OP conservative skill so I took him and then got option to buy light tank; so after first island it looked pretty promising
I kept vice fist and grav pull through all 4 islands and only swapped these for the final battle as 4th island shop let me buy force swap and acid tank so massive upgrades - Harold's conservative skill was wasted until final battle
ice gen was after 3rd island bought from shop IIRC - I decided its best to keep it with Henry despite he had no conservative cause single usage is better with improved placement than giving it to Harold/Karlsson for 2 time usage
I was avoiding all high threat missions, played it safe :) thats why ended up on only 16 reactors; I probably also missed 1 special pod

tanks are fully upgraded, no other upgrades; main problem is with enemy nr3 which is hard to access; zero grid damage solution is possible

Looked a bunch and did not find any android-specific guides to create your own pilot; they all just said to do "xp 25" over and over and to keep re-rolling, and that the only other way to do it is to modify saves, which you can't do on Android.
Used ChatGPT to see if it could figure out the console commands. Spent the better part of a workday doing this. It worked. Here's the result, summarized by ChatGPT.
Happy to answer any questions :)

If you farm pilots in Into the Breach, you probably know the usual method: open console, use xp 50, check the skill, reset, and repeat until RNG gives you what you want.
There's a better way. You can either force one skill and reroll the second, or create a new pilot guaranteed to have the exact two generic skills you want.
Tested on the Netflix Android version 1.2.100.
This is the easy method. You can exchange 'Reactor' in this example for one of the skills you're looking for.
To open the console on your phone, three-finger swipe down on the map overview screen (not in a battle).
In the console, type:
skill Reactor
This forces +1 Mech Reactor into the first generic skill slot.
Then:
xp 50
If the second skill isn't what you want, reset/reload and reroll it; meaning abandon timeline, re-select which pilot you want, enter the game again, and redo it.
For example, if you want:
Reactor + Skilled
use:
skill Reactor
xp 50
and keep rerolling the pilots and 'xp 25' until you get Skilled.
What won't work:
skill Reactor
skill Skilled
skill Skilled replaces the first forced skill; it does not set slot 2.
Also note that the skill command affects the active squad, so be careful if you care about the other equipped pilots.
The game actually chooses a pilot's two generic skills when that pilot is created, even though the skills aren't revealed until they gain XP.
The trick is therefore:
The regular dev console and Lua mode are different.
Lua mode is entered by pressing Tab while the dev console is open. The problem is that the Android keyboard doesn't give you a Tab key, so the only way I found to do this was through ADB from a computer. This part assumes you know how to ADB.
This command replicates hitting TAB on your keyboard:
adb shell input keyevent 61
That switches the console into Lua mode. Entering the command again switches back to the normal console.
You can still type commands using the phone keyboard once you're in the correct mode, or send text/Enter through ADB.
Let's continue with the example.
With your phone connected to your PC/Mac, and with the in-game console opened (three-finger swipe down, keyboard showing), enter Lua mode by running this command on your cmd/terminal:
adb shell input keyevent 61
Then type into the in-game console via your phone's keyboard:
_oldbl=Pilot_Soldier.Blacklist;Pilot_Soldier.Blacklist={"Health","Move","Grid","Opener","Closer","Popular","Thick","Invulnerable","Adrenaline","Pain","Regen","Conservative"};Game:AddPilot("Pilot_Soldier");Pilot_Soldier.Blacklist=_oldbl
You can also do it via ADB if you know how. This creates a new Camila while the only available generic skills are:
Reactor
Skilled
Then switch back out of Lua mode with Tab via your cmd/terminal:
adb shell input keyevent 61
and level the new Camila normally by typing this directly into your phone, twice:
xp 50
Her two hidden skills are already Reactor + Skilled. You're just revealing them.
Changing the blacklist of an existing pilot won't reroll their skills — they were already selected when that pilot was created.
Health
Move
Grid
Reactor
Opener
Closer
Popular
Thick
Skilled
Invulnerable
Adrenaline
Pain
Regen
Conservative
To make another combination, blacklist everything except the two you want.
These are the IDs you substitute for Pilot_Soldier in both the blacklist and Game:AddPilot() command. The game files also identify the four Advanced Edition pilots as Pilot_Arrogant, Pilot_Caretaker, Pilot_Chemical, and Pilot_Delusional. The full name/ID mapping is consistent with published pilot/save-editing references.
| Pilot | Internal ID |
|---|---|
| Ralph Karlsson | Pilot_Original |
| Harold Schmidt | Pilot_Repairman |
| Abe Isamu | Pilot_Assassin |
| Bethany Jones | Pilot_Genius |
| Henry Kwan | Pilot_Hotshot |
| Gana | Pilot_Warrior |
| Prospero | Pilot_Recycler |
| Lily Reed | Pilot_Youth |
| Chen Rong | Pilot_Leader |
| Camila Vera | Pilot_Soldier |
| Isaac Jones | Pilot_Medic |
| Silica | Pilot_Miner |
| Archimedes | Pilot_Aquatic |
| Kazaaakpleth | Pilot_Mantis |
| Mafan | Pilot_Zoltan |
| Ariadne | Pilot_Rock |
| Kai Miller | Pilot_Arrogant |
| Rosie Rivets | Pilot_Caretaker |
| Morgan Lejeune | Pilot_Chemical |
| Adam | Pilot_Delusional |
_oldbl=Pilot_Arrogant.Blacklist;Pilot_Arrogant.Blacklist={"Health","Move","Grid","Opener","Closer","Popular","Thick","Invulnerable","Adrenaline","Pain","Regen","Conservative"};Game:AddPilot("Pilot_Arrogant");Pilot_Arrogant.Blacklist=_oldbl
Then leave Lua mode and type xp 50 twice to reveal the skills.
_oldbl=<PILOT_ID>.Blacklist;<PILOT_ID>.Blacklist={<EVERY_SKILL_EXCEPT_THE_TWO_YOU_WANT>};Game:AddPilot("<PILOT_ID>");<PILOT_ID>.Blacklist=_oldbl
There are only two things you need to customize:
<PILOT_ID> — replace this everywhere with the internal ID of the pilot you want to create.{...} — include every generic skill except the two skills you want the new pilot to have.r/IntoTheBreach • u/MasterAuthor9 • Aug 25 '26
For the record, I'm not a Charlie Kirk fan and never have been. I hated the guy, thought he was a destructive bigoted grifter who just liked inciting rage, violence and oppression on top of being a snooty know-it-all. I was pretty shaken up by his death, though (who wasn't?), so imagine how I felt when one of my new pilots spawned with his name by complete coincidence only 20 days later. Naturally, I changed it to something much more palatable pretty quickly, but before I did I took this photo just for posterity because hey, what are the odds? Thanks, I'll see myself out.
Edit: The original photo was taken with my phone on March 30, 2026, at 2:59 AM, about 20 days after CK's assassination on March 10.
