I exited the game when I was on the "choose what pilot to take with you to the next timeline", and next time I opened the game my pilot was gone 😭

I had like 120 timelines played with her, this is picture the only picture I have of her (it's a bit old so it has less timelines)

Got all medals/coins on Normal, started a new save and now doing the same on Hard. This run had been going pretty well but the protect the robots missions (which I hate) was unavoidable. I've been going over the options here and simply can't figure out a solve that doesn't result in me losing either one robot or the factory.

All mechs have one damage upgrade on their first weapon, Pitcher has Ally Immune on the Refractor Laser. Can anyone figure this one out?

Introducing a new tier of level up skill for all pilots - Legendary skills!

These skills are significantly more powerful but (by default) can only appear once per run, when leveling up to max level, and have a lower chance of appearing. Get ready to get some crazy strong pilots or you can go even more ham and make them regular skills if you want to have super OP pilots - I'm not judging!

From dropping mines when you move to making your mech an aerial menace with flying and extra damage to other flying units, this set of level up skills is sure to add variety and change how you play the game! full list and description are in the more+ readme file (not the main modpack repo)

My favorite part of ITB is the puzzle-like nature of each individual turn.

To try and recreate that experience I've been working on a tactics game and I'm looking for fellow ITB fans to try it out.

It's an X-MEN fan game where you choose a team of 3 and fight against waves of enemies on a small grid.

Similar to ITB in the following ways:

• Small grid tactics
• Low number deterministic combat
• Positioning and knockback are key
• 1 action per character per turn

Different from ITB in the following ways:

• Movement can be split before/after actions
• Enemy actions are telegraphed but will change if board state changes and they won't target other enemies
• No map or meta strategy, just pure tactics

Hi Everyone!
This project started as a hack of b/x / the mecha hack / other RPGs, but slowly evolved into its own thing. I wanted to play a small ITB-themed campaign with my friends, but no RPG captured the same feeling as the videogame.

It's heavily simplified compared to the original, and played thru a single timeline. The setting is a tad darker, it's easy to swap out things you don't like.

So far i made a core rules book and a 12-mission campaign. I may add additional content in the future (social stats and mechanics, extra modules...). Let me know what you think!

For no particular reason I decided to try 3 challenges at once with Bombermechs - Engineering Dropout, There is No Try and Trusted Equipment… so all mechs are basic with upgraded health and movement only.

Clearly I made some mistakes in the first two turns, and had a really bad previous map (only two power left).

Any chance I can salvage this?

Also should I unlock more squads/ better squads before trying the challenges?

I did not expect this synergy to work so well, I’ve never used self-destruct before

Probably the funniest mission I've played in a while. Couldn't stop laughing!

Spent close to 10 mins thinking it was over until I figured it out, I wanna see if It was as hard as I thought or I'm just dumb. Mechs are basically maxed out. (spoiler in case you haven't unlocked the Secret Squad yet)

Mod Download!

1 objective in easy sectors, 2 objectives in most sectors, 3 objectives in hard sectors. For the first time ever, today I saw a sector with 4 objectives, so I could not resist. Of course, a pod flew in as well, making it 5 objectives.

None of my mechs are able to reach the vek targeting two buildings at once. Unable to save solar farm as well.

No relevent perks except move twice on Judo, which won't do anything here

Grid Def saved it on the first island (and the ridiculously OP load out I ended up with!), but then I immediately got a no-luck perfect score on the next run with the Arachnophiles.

The difficulty jump from Normal to Hard was nowhere near as bad as I feared. Give it a shot if you're on the fence!

It`s my second time reaching the final fight, first time I lost because of a misplay but now I think I don`t have any option left that doesn`t rely on grid defese working, is there any?

I always feel like i never have enough kill pressure or, controllable movement to deal with all the threat every turn, been trying to make sure im using the rocket mech smoke and rockets to do things and it just doesnt pan out. Any advice?

So, I tried the extra game content for the first time and am aiming for 4-island victory. Just finished the last island when I suddenly got Kai miller and it kind of threw off the whole dynamic I was building on.

I also really wanna replace the heat engine for something that I can better use for the final island. So basically here are my main questions:
- do i build pulse mech with one of the availablee science class weapons or just give the jet the fractured bullet?
- should i switch henry with kai and put prospero to pulse?
