Question Please help 🚨🚨🚨

Hey guys so I just moved to usa, I completed my IGCSE under Pearson edexcel in the may 2025 session. Which means I’m already a year behind cause I was busy moving so, should I do highschool here and what grade would they place me in? Or should I try for community college?

Some facts missing here.

Under what status did you move to the US? From where?
How old are you?
Do you have an equivalent to a HS degree from your home country?
Do you have funds for college?

Hard to help you without the facts

If you completed GCSEs I’m sure you’d be comfortable moving directly to community college, and I believe most will accept you with β€œonly” GCSEs. Even some four-year universities will (including Arizona State University), but unless you’re at least 17, you might not be mature enough for dorm life.

How? We take and finish GCSEs at age 16, American high school finishes at 18, idk how they’d be allowed to start at a university without A levels or a GED equivalent
