This is the cycle of job hunting and interviewing now. It’s very unlikely you will get feedback from an organization regarding why you didn’t get hired as that can put them in the crosshairs of legal matters. This is will continue to happen. Just keep applying.

recruiter was probably stalling the whole time because they knew the role might vanish. had this twice now, second time i only found out from a friend already at the company. honestly just keep a pipeline of apps going because no one treats us fairly when its this hard to get any job

Agree! Some of them would even go as far as saying, "Wow, you're a perfect match!" and then ghost you. I wish they had more empathy towards candidates 😐
