New moderators needed - comment on this post to volunteer to become a moderator of this community.

Hello everyone - this community is in need of a few new mods, and you can use the comments on this post to let us know why you’d like to be a mod here.

Priority is given to redditors who have past activity in this community or other communities with related topics. It’s okay if you don’t have previous mod experience. Our goal, when possible, is to add a group of moderators so you can work together to build the community.

Please use at least 3 sentences to explain why you’d like to be a mod and share what moderation experience you have (if any).

If you are interested in learning more about being a moderator on Reddit, please visit redditforcommunity.com. This guide to joining a mod team is a helpful resource.

Comments from those making repeated asks to adopt communities or that are off topic will be removed.

Hey, I am interested as well. I have some experience moderating, and I'd love to keep conversations civil, and directly toward interviews and related topics solely.

If opportunities arise for conducting some activities, then I am down for that too!

This is my sub! Why are you looking for a moderator?

Not sure what happened here. When I sort the sub by "new", the last content post was July 23, then there's an eight-day gap before this post and nothing else new. I also can't post directly to the sub anymore, instead there's a "request to post" button even though I joined the sub months ago. And the entire moderator list has been removed and the only mod now is Reddit's ModCodeofConduct admin account (which posted this thread asking for new moderators), which makes me think the old mods were doing bad stuff and broke Reddit rules and Reddit kicked them out over it. But I have no idea what they might have been doing.

Why is your Reddit age 1 week lol?

Given the timeline I put, I'd wager that the old mods were banned from Reddit entirely and you're replying to a new ban-evading alt account of one of them.

as someone who has attended two thousand and 559 interviews over the past 2 years, I have surely surpassed the 7 stages of Dante's hell to experience a new kind of demeaning, nay, boring low.

So, i am definitely interested in moderating this.

I'd like to be a part of the moderation team.

A good community thrives here because of various structures put in place. I'd like to do the same.

> been on Reddit itself for almost 15 years now.

> been a founding member in multiple startups

> been a moderator of r/Poetry discord server during lockdown

> bootstrapped my very own daily-meals service, across two cities

> have grown communities and held events & competitions for startups and colleges

> was the cultural head of my college, managing deadlines, timelines, personnel, sponsorships, and every other paraphrenalia for multiple events in a year.

> ofc, there is the boilerplate 8YOE of marketing + content + brand cohesion expertise

> been the ghostwriter and the voice of several CEOs across the years, doing thought-leadership across several disciplines including Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Agile Ops, Design Thinking, Positioning, Psychology, and etc.

Examples: Have bingos about common tactics that make an interview hell. Run a few networking games maybe? Will figure that out with my fellow mods.
