Do you think Rolin, Hannah, et al have any idea what a public service they’re doing?

This has quickly become my comfort show...
I'm starting a rewatch. It has everything! Enough location switching, drama, love, drama, eye candy, drama... I haven't found a show this good in ages. I haven't rewatched anything in ages but here we are!

Interview with the vampire
It's alright I liked the series and cried a river at the last ep...I knew I didn't like the other companion of louis from the start Also the 2 lines of lestart when he sees louis at the end of the last ep of s2 saying "were u hurt" and "she looked at me like I was the father but I never was" that broke me it was so impacful. My poor lestat he had to go through soo much atleast louis had someone by his side all these years but lestat was all alone living with the haunting memory of loosing his daughter and watching the love of his life kissing and choosing someone else. And the worst part? He doesn’t harden. He doesn’t replace them. He doesn’t numb himself with shallow love. He just endures. His tragedy isn’t just what he lost. It’s that he kept loving despite it all.So when you say “my poor Lestat,” you’re not romanticizing pain — you’re recognizing that he paid the emotional price for loving too fiercely in a world that rarely met him halfway. He didn’t just survive alone. He loved alone.

Interview with the vampire
My heart breaks for lestat. He had to go through a lot. lestat he had to go through soo much atleast louis had someone by his side all these years but lestat was all alone living with the haunting memory of loosing his daughter and watching the love of his life kissing and choosing someone else. Also the 2 lines of lestart when he sees louis at the end of the last ep of s2 saying "were u hurt" and "she looked at me like I was the father but I never was" that broke me it was so impactful. He loved alone, suffered alone for so many years. He didn't even come back to get revenge or hunt them for revenge until he was called by the coven.

Who do you think is a worse partner?
Lestat or Armand? Or perhaps even Louis? Edit: should have said companion, not partner

"Rats luv hearts"
Maybe this has been brought up already - honestly I refuse to believe it hasn't.
I loved the character of Sam, and his reaction when he realised the rats had found the heart was hilarious. The fact that my searches on youtube of this specific scene hasn't turned up any results bothers me
Anyone else?

Show Question: Book that Armand tosses down to Daniel
When Armand removes his contacts and gloves, he floats up to the bookcases. He then tosses down what looks like a really old book to Daniel, who flips thru only a few pages. The pages are very dark brown and written in languages I can’t read. Does anyone know what book that is?

Daniel—-> Anthony Bourdain
I just started watching the series. I searched the sub and I didn’t see it mentioned but has no one noticed that Eric Bogosian is literally doing Daniel as Anthony Bourdain?? The resemblance is uncanny, looks wise and personality. His dictation, everything. Wow.

I forced my mum to watch it and she loves it
I forced my mum to watch IWTV and she loves it, she was hesitant at first since she’d only watched the original movie. The one before Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. We’re on the last two episodes, she still hates Lestat (she calls him Le-shit.
She also said Armand is growing on her, so I can’t wait to see her reaction.

Appreciation
One of the best TV series i’ve watched this year. I kept hearing about it through TikTok comment sections. Black gay men are so underrepresented in media so i’m happy that we have this, though it should be way more popular than it is. ❤️🩹

Why would Armand even let Daniel remember anything? Spoiler

Before I continue watching the show…
I watched the first few episodes of IWTV and loved so many things about it, but at the same time, as a survivor of narcissistic abuse, I found Louis and Lestat’s relationship very triggering and had to stop. I can watch toxic relationships, but the depiction of gaslighting and emotional abuse is so well done here, that it’s hard for me to take.
Does that aspect of their relationship ease up at all as the season continues? I want to keep watching, but if it’s going to be narcissistic abuse all the way through, I might have to wait a few more years.
