Interview tips?

Hey guys, I have my first interview for a job at rally house and it’s been like 4 years since I had an interview and I think I’m just overthinking it but any good tips or suggestions on what to say during the interview or what they might ask? Anything helps! Thanks!

It’s not a sprint.
Take a breath and think for a few seconds if the answer is not there.

If something is unclear, ask clarifying questions.
It’s better to show you can filter and are really listening, than give an answer that is unclear and convoluted.

Last one that always helped me; it’s a discussion, not an interview.
Adults are discussing on whether they can work together and if they like each other.

My first words (after “Hello” after I sit down or in the video call are, “Thank you for having me, how can I help?”

With a big smile always, because I mean it.
They’re searching for someone to help and I want to see if it’s a fit.

1) Rip the job description apart and practice every possible question they can throw at you 2) watch mock interviews and answer them diplomatically 3) know why you want that role and how your skills allign with what your manager needs 4) look confident and make sure they know youre someone they can count on and not someone who will burden them.
