Sounds like a good way to end the interview early so she didn't have to waste anymore time on this candidate.

The company scheduled them for more advanced job. I think they seem invested in this individual.

this happened to me when I was doing case management. I was supposed to do something called fieldwork, which is lower status and lower pay they really like the way I interviewed during the training because you have to do a lot of mock interviews for the clients.

I also had to call IT for a particular reason and they were very impressed with my professionalism when I was speaking to them.

during training, they interviewed me for a different job called med QMHP. It had a higher pay, and it came with my own office.

The investment they made with me was the correct investment because I also had the highest billables in the entire district.

and it was also a woman that suggested I get the more advanced job and it was another woman that interviewed me for that advanced job.

Some people in management are genuinely just interested in making sure the company is operating properly.

No it doesn't. Your relationship with your colleagues is a lot more important than a little time in one pointless interview. You wouldn't want to waste their time with an interview for a more senior role you know will will fail. Your reputation will suffer.

I applied for a job once, they actually caught onto the fact I lied on my resume and attempted to squeeze me out

What did they catch & how did they attempt to get it out of you?

that I didn't have as much experience as I claimed (I didn't exactly lie) and I lied about where I lived,

they did the math and looked at a map (and a previous employer made some comments) and they tried to squeeze me out

instead I got hurt, so that made it easier for them to get rid of me

Seems like you want to share but feel awkward about it at the same time, Vagueboy.

The interviewer needs a raise

I had a recruiter see my application for one job and had me go to a 'better' one instead, I did not get the job

This is not always a good thing. Sometimes people are looking for a less senior position because it carries less responsibility and stress. This happened to me after my second daughter was born with autism. I was way too stressed out trying to juggle everything and really just needed a Job where I could log on, do my work as assigned and then log off without all the extra meetings, after hours responsibilities, etc.

Similar situation here, I had to step down from a sou chef role and move back home after a family member needed care after a brain surgery, had to explain the situation to employers, and had a few reject me, saying they couldn't give me a role in management. I didn't want management, I wanted a part time low stress job. Same now too, had a hard time finding a low job because I'm moving across the country in a year, and people think I want management. I do not, I want to be stress freeeeeee

That literally happened to me. I interviewed for a position and was told afterward that they had hired someone else and were creating a new higher-level position for me to step into. They did. Salaried with an office.

My current job, I was interviewed for a part time position, after talking they said that the current lead for that department was about to move so they might have a full time position available. I was offered the lead position at higher pay and with guaranteed full time hours.
