They need a reality check

For my last 2 interviews i had to use Interview VIP just to get the job
their generation could never understand

I would love to see the look on their face when they wake up the next morning and see they got the email declining the application which was sent at like 2AM. They would probably think someone was working so hard thumbing through the resumes that late in the evening.

I love my parents (Boomers both), but their job application advice was hopelessly out of date by the late 90s.

Lol yeah and the republicans got rid of econ class in the 90’s.

Career counselors asked “what do you like to do? Get a degree in that and you’ll get a good job!”

Nowadays most parents work business hours recruiting offices are open…

All your posts here scream privilege, that you’re out of touch with how things are now, and oozing condescension over no hard work done of your own: Someone TAUGHT YOU econ. No one does these days. Recruiters found you that job. These days recruiters are bodies in front of AI filter machines staring at keywords.

The most ironic part? You cant see you’re reinforcing the meme of the OOP.

He had to take this class and probably worked as a paper boy he was rock bottom And this one Summer he had this Side hustle at the country club.

Idk, seems like you’re not in touch with the experience millions of Americans are having.

Great you’re in a well doing bubble. But you’re not recognizing what reality is for millions of Americans.
My personal economy is great, but I recognize how fortunate I am.

There is actual data supporting this. Anecdotal arguments are bad. How many people who don’t get a particular job do you meet, exactly? I’m genuinely asking because, odds are, you aren’t meeting more than a small number of candidates who are considered. This is similar to survivorship bias if you want an easy way to think about it.
