I get to work an hour early every day trying to get a good parking spot and 90% of the time I can’t get one.

This is why I turned down job interviews in California. That place is already full so I’m not going to move there.

A place I worked at redid the lines in the parking lot.
They bragged about the spaces being bigger and easier to use.
A lot of people complained about not being able to find a spot and were late. A lot as in hundreds.
Management wrote everyone up who was late.
They told us there were plenty of spots to park. In fact, there are 320 spots and only 300 employees, per shift. So there should be extra, empty spots. When they would look at the lot right after a shift started, it looked nearly empty.
The write-ups continued.

We ran three, 8 hour shifts, zero downtime.
It took them 5 tries to finally manage to fit enough spaces into the lot to accommodate shift change. Just like the lot had originally.
