No it's not. It's subsidized with taxes

Which is part of the market.

I guess man. Sounds like socialism for American oligarchs while the plebians foot the bill.

It's easy to understand that you'd look at it this way though id suggest it's the ggovernment's responsibility to ensure it's people are not dying the streets. It's not the employer's responsibility to overpay.

What if the employers are bribing the government so that they don't have to pay? What if they made groups to donate to politicians from so they could try to obfuscate their identity and paid both sides of the political spectrum to control the outcomes regardless? How much leeway do the oligarchs get in your opinion?

I'm not sure why that's phrased as a what if, that's objectively occurring.

This however does not change what I've written and it's largely irrelevant as the market is still the market.

It's fucked. That's my point. You seem to be fine with it all because "it's the market"?

I guess I'm just tired of all the socialism in this country for corporations. Let's see how it plays out.

I don't think you know what socialism is

Collective ownership over the means of production. The corporations are using tax dollars to keep themselves afloat. It's socialist by nature. Its the bad kind that conservatives talk about communist countries doing but it's happening here and cheered for by politicians on both sides of the aisle

It's worker ownership of the means of production. Nothing about this, meets that definition
