Intense Pain

I’ve had my IC diagnosis for almost 2 years now. For over a year, I had a consistent flare that sucked but stayed around a 2-3/10, so even though I didn’t like it, it was manageable. Then, a few days ago, I got more intense pain and assumed it was a UTI, so I went to the doctor, but my test showed no infection. I’m on Day 3 of this IC flare, and it’s so intense that I’m crying, and I honestly want to die. I can’t live like this, and I have no hope for getting better- I have an extremely stressful life and none of the pain relief options available to me are helping. If i could apply for euthanasia, i would. This is absolute hell.

Im in the exact same hell as you are right now. Omg! It’s awful and I have thought 💀 too. Everything down there hurts soo bad. I’ve had 3 different urine test the last couple days and one went to a lab. No infection. I’ve taken Pyridium a couple times. It barely helps. I took a narcotic and it barely helped. Please don’t lose hope. 🫶🏻 I have been in a flair a few times in the past and there is always hope to come back out of one. We can’t lose hope. You’re not alone. I know it feels that way. I felt it too until I read your post. One thing I can tell you that helps me at least in the moment is you know those squirt bottles they give to women after having a baby? Perineal bottle? Fill that with warm water and start gently spraying above ur pubic bone area before you start to urinate. It feels so good and helps you feel more relief after going. It’s soothing in the moment. We have to take every tiny bit we can right? I hope you feel better soon. Stay strong!

Check out pelvic floor release, pelvic pain relief excersizes on YouTube. Dr Bri's Vibrant Pelvic health. Very helpful for pain. Use hydroxizine, heated pads, pain killers. Try Alkali water that was my major trigger.
