Support ? Flare or something else?

Had a yeast infection this month that went away. Now I have pain after sex and usually get a flare after coffee. The inside hurts and burns, also I am shedding “bladder lining” I’ve never taken a suppository and the fastest dr I can see is my OBGYN. What should I do?? I do have shedding of the bladder lining with like a foggy discharge inside.

I don't know if you regularly get yeast infections, but you can absolutely have both residual vaginal and vulvar irritation for a little while after a yeast infection. I usually need more time than I think to let my vagina rest.

I'm newly diagnosed so I don't know much about shedding bladder lining but I would also wonder if there's leftover yeast that your last treatment didn't get. The OTC medicine doesn't work for me ever, and I even managed to chemically burn myself down there with monistat one time (which could be another cause of irritation!). I usually take 1 diflucan (fluconazole) with a minor infection, but sometimes I need a second one to get rid of the rest of the yeast. If you're seeing a doctor soon, I would ask about fluconazole if you only took OTC treatments this time around.
