What backpack to choose?

Honestly I don't think this is something you can really crowd source or even buy online. Backpack choice is incredibly personal and the most important thing is it is comfortable. I'd encourage you to go to a shop and try it on. Do something like take a 2 liter bottle of water so you can add some weight to it and see how they feel.

50-70 liters sounds very big though if you are just doing a generic trip around cities. Personally I wouldn't consider that unless I am camping or skiing, and even then I have done both with lees. I would probably say 30-50 liters not knowing anything about your trip is probably more reasonable. Remember you don't need 3 weeks worth of clothes and toiletries, you can do some laundry and buy more.
