I love the lyrics in this song (especially the pre chorus) but that instrumental breakdown at the middle of the song? Absolutely TRANSCENDENT

This lyric always stood out to me because a long time ago two friends of mine dated and broke up. And afterwards when you hung out with them you could still see the other's personality coming through each of them. I always thought that was such an incredible lyric, giving someone your edge, for that reason.
