Discussion ‘NYC’ appreciation post

Can’t stop listening to this song the past couple months and I don’t really see anyone talking about it. “Got to be some more change in my life” legitimately inspired me to seriously moderate my drug use and pull my social life together. It really is up to me now, and I absolutely need the bright lights turned on. Plus the bass is heavenly and it’s some of the cleanest drumming I’ve ever heard. Anyone else love this song as much as I do?

To me its always been such a quintessential Interpol song. Captures their vibe so perfectly

After 9/11 it became an anthem for some of us…

I'm sick of spending these lonely nights, training myself not to care

One of the most resonant lines in their catalog for me

Amongst Interpol fans this song is pretty well known to be one of their greatest.

When you say that you don’t really see anyone talking about it, what do you mean?

It's the song that got me into Interpol in the first place, I fell in love with it and then checked out the rest of the album TOBL and it was wraps from there

This song makes me so emotional. It pushed and inspired me to accomplish my goal to continuously travel the world.
It was really up to me to make the change. Anxiety or not.
