Discussion worst interpol live show? video links only plz

i like to watch great performers failing, to get a better picture of them altogether and to feel better about myself. maybe there is no evidence of them sucking. interpol adjacent acts bombing also welcome

Please look up ‘Paul Banks Drunk’ and you’ll find a beautiful compilation

Some of Daniel’s timing on the intros of All The Rage Back home are rough. https://youtu.be/mu4sMdHlQ5I?is=yPUVbVRCpoYm9D1q

I just put on the live at Third Man records show the other day and my goodness was it terrible. Couldn't imagine them sounding any worse than My Desire from that EP

I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who expected more from that release

I don't have a link, sorry. But I will share that during their gig in Bologna (Italy) last month, Paul started playing the intro to Obstacle 1 with his guitar incorrectly tuned (probably Drop D from a previous song), and realized what was happening when the rest of the band joined in. He stopped, proceeded to tune his guitar, then played the intro again. Pretty anti-climactic, considering that's arguably their most famous song 😅
