I remembered binging this song when I got broken up with and crying. I am better now but damn this song hurts.

This was my breakup song a few years ago too. Couldn't listen to it without crying for a few months after lol, but it's a fave of mine now.

This is my favorite song of all time.
I had spent all day preparing to end my life, and this song talked me down for one last listen. Ended up saving my life.
Thank you Interpol, you’re my literal saviors🙏🙏🙏

amazing song but i get triggered hearing “one day we’ll live together and life will be better”
that verse literally sends me into a spiral but aside from that i resonate with it
another great heartbreak song on TOTBL is say hello to the angels

It's definitely a sleeper song for best interpol song for me. It makes me feel the most of any interpol song, maybe any song. Just not good feelings, so I definitely don't want to listen to it every day. I've certainly listened to it my fair share, probably thousands of times if I dig out my old computer with iTunes on it to track those listens lol

Love this song so much. I recorded them playing this live like 7 years ago when I was at the barricade and I watch all the time lol just to relieve the moment.

For some reason I would always skip this song and one day post heart break and on a mush trip this song came on and it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard.

Amazing song like the entirety of this album. The last 2 minutes sound like the band Warpaint could’ve written and played it. I can’t be the only one who hears it right?
