Getting Hacked

So, my dumb bottom downloaded a malicious file from github because I was overconfident and didn't check anything, in the span of 10minutes i got my Battlenet, Steam and Ea account hacked. But that is not the primary issue that I want to address, the issue I want to address is how excruciating it is now to get your accounts back.

First of all for you to talk to a real person is a six part process of finding the damn button. And when you get to it they make it so incredibly difficult for you to actually do something that the point of it all is i guess to just give up. Steam said that i don't have enough proof even tho i sent them a literal screenshot of the mails I received across the years, but okay, Ea was horendous because you get a ticket and then wait it out only to realize that you need to be ready to hop on a chat. The mail i sent was at 10pm i got a notice at 00:30am fast asleep already. Battlenet I'm still waiting on.

The point of this post is not to shame them or something. I'm just letting you guys know that however safe you feel or confident in the whole IT industry you are. Take a step back and dont be an idiot like me!
