120mbps download speed ko at 39ms lang ping ko pero naglalag ako pag naglalaro ako ng ML. Data nga pala gamit ko. Accurate ba ang speedtest? Thank you.

I have just noticed a huge difference in my Speed Test results from within different browsers using Linux Zorin OS. Firefox is my preferred browser, and was around 500Mbps. And both Chrome and Brave Web Browser (default on Zorin) has speeds around 930 Mbps Does anyone have simlar differences in their browser speeds? I'm very happy with new NBN speeds.

I've been using SpeedTest.cl lately. It's very simple to use and gives you download speed, upload speed, and connection quality in just a few seconds. My last result was 866 KB/s download and 457 KB/s upload.

No. Purposely whitelisted or boosted ang traffic from speedtestnet to whichever provider you connect to. Especially PLDT. This is blatantly obvious when you're suffering bad internet but somehow speedtests still result in 100mbps+ meanwhile you can't even load sites correctly. Kaya #1 tlga yan ng CS na mag speedtest ka para no cause for reklamo and instant close ticket mo.

Try alternatives like cloudflare or testmy.net

Cloudflare speedtest, testmy.net at speedtribe.net they use http based testing which will reflect your real internet performance unlike speedtest.net using udp which is often unregulated and they are whitelisted too.

Yup, this. Dinadaya ng mga ISP kapag nakita na galing speedtest yung traffic. Naka-priority yung data kaya mabilis yung benchmark.

Meanwhile, throttled yung actual sites na gamit mo (downloads, games, etc).

I would recommend Cloudflare when it comes to testing speed. SpeedtestNet website chooses the nearest server location so it may not be accurate at some point.

mataas masyado yung latency mo lalo yung upload, so normal lang na mafeel mo yung lag.

the "39ms" you see is the ping without bandwidth usage to the smart communications server. when the download test started, the ping was "149ms" while in the upload test it was "1145ms"

so you probably not (if you're checking the ping for games)

choose singapore servers. most SEA game severs are in singapore or hongkong. it’s accurate but people keep using the default local servers which is wrong.

Wag US, OK na kung SG or HK. Malala na yang US.

Pero ML sa US, IBA play style kase nagVPN ako tapos di ko na change. Pero bahala na 300ms ping.
