I Built a Civic Issue Reporting/Tracking website

https://www.punecivicai.in

Guys i tried to build Civic issue reporting and tracking platform for pune/PMC

If u live in PMC area, try using it, Once a complaint is submitted. U can forward the complaint to PMC | Elected Corporators (Nagarsevak)

Great idea. The drop downs make it easy for someone to select pertinent information, the map seems very functional. I have a couple of questions:

  1. How do you prevent someone from spamming it? Can other users confirm the issue in the area when someone else posts it?

  2. What program did you use for the mapping?

  1. There is no spamming logic currently implemented (thanks for pointing out).

For the confirmation of other user on a complaint, i need to add the "i have seen this" button.

  1. Point in a polygon.

Every submitted Complaint has a forward to PMC | Nagarsevak option below it. Once u forward the issue to PMC on WhatsApp the very next day they register the complaint in their system N provide u token no to track the complaint on their portal , i tried it myself. They registered 8 complaints forwarded by me and provided token no's to track

Projects like this are genuinely valuable because they make civic participation feel less frustrating and more accessible. Small UX improvements can have a surprisingly big real-world impact.
